OSHA 10- and 30-Hour Outreach Training Program

Arrow Safety offers low-cost OSHA 10- and 30-hour outreach training courses for both general industry (1910) and construction industry (1926). These multi-day training courses are presented by OSHA-authorized outreach trainers who train workers in the basics of worksite safety, as well as safety awareness to help identify and mitigate job-site hazards and risks.

We offer in-person (classroom) training anywhere within the geographical jurisdiction of OSHA, including the 50 U.S. states, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, American Samoa, Guam, the Commonwealth of Northern Mariana Islands, Wake Island, Outer Continental Shelf Lands defined in the Outer Continental Shelf Lands Act, and Johnston Island.

All students who successfully complete the course will receive an OSHA 10-hour or 30-hour course completion card (as applicable) within eight (8) weeks of completing the course.

NOTE: Per Federal OSHA, OSHA 10- and 30-hour course completion cards do not expire.

Program Purpose

The OSHA outreach training program teaches workers about their rights, employer responsibilities, how to file a complaint, as well as how to identify, abate, avoid, and prevent job-related hazards.

Voluntary Program

The outreach training program is voluntary. It does not meet training requirements in any OSHA standard. While some jurisdictions, employers, and unions require OSHA outreach training program training to work on various job sites and to fulfill their safety training goals, OSHA considers the program voluntary. Workers must receive additional training on hazards specific to their job. Who Should Attend OSHA 10- and 30-Hour Outreach Training Courses?

OSHA 10-Hour

The OSHA 10-hour outreach training program is intended to provide entry-level workers with information about their rights, employer responsibilities, how to file a complaint, as well as how to identify, abate, avoid and prevent job-related hazards on a job site. The training covers a variety of job-related safety and health hazards which a worker may encounter at a job site.

The 10-hour OSHA training programs emphasize hazard identification, avoidance, control, and prevention, not OSHA standards. Instructional time must be a minimum of ten (10) contact hours (2 days).

OSHA 30-Hour

The 30-hour OSHA outreach training program is intended to provide a variety of training to workers with some safety responsibility. OSHA 30-hour training programs emphasize hazard identification, avoidance, control, and prevention, not OSHA standards. Instructional time must be a minimum of thirty (30) contact hours (4 days).
