Drew Hinton, President/CEO

Drew is a seasoned safety and medical professional with 15 years of progressive experience in occupational health and safety. His previous experience includes over 10 years as a career Firefighter/EMT/HazMat Officer in Louisville, KY, Construction Safety and Health Contractor for the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), EMT for the Kentucky Dept. of Public Health’s (KDPH) Medical Reserve Corps. (MRC), and various senior-level EHS positions for organizations across the United States.

He currently holds a Ph.D. in Occupational Health and Safety from Capitol Technology University, where has also serves as an Adjunct Professor. Drew serves on the Occupational Safety and Health Advisory Board at both Capitol Technology University and Columbia Southern University. He was named one of HSE People’s Top Health and Safety Influencers of 2021, and was named to Marquis Who’s Who in America for his outstanding work and leadership in occupational and public safety.

His areas of expertise include medical, hazardous materials, confined space entry/rescue, hearing conservation, fall protection, and emergency preparedness and response.

Drew has previously served on the Institute of Hazardous Materials Management’s (IHMM) Nominations Committee, IHMM HazMat Society’s (HMS) Training and Education Committee, NIOSH NORA Hearing Loss Prevention Cross-Sector Council, NIOSH NORA Construction Sector Council, and NIOSH COVID-19 in Construction Workgroup.

Dave Facer, Senior Safety Specialist

Dave has worked in the public service field in both Kentucky and Indiana for 30 years, serving as an EMT, Paramedic, and Firefighter with extensive training in special operations. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Safety and Health from Columbia Southern University, and holds several State and OSHA certifications.

Dave is currently licensed as a Paramedic in both Kentucky and Indiana, and has served as a Certified Flight Paramedic with local flight transport helicopters. In addition to Arrow Safety, he currently serves as a Fire Captain and Instructor with New Albany (IN) Fire Department, and is affiliated with two special operations teams.

Dave is currently working towards his Certified Safety and Health Official (CSHO) certification, and holds numerous professional certifications, including:


Steven Oliver, DOT Specialist

Steven has held multiple roles throughout his lifetime that have helped pave the way for his career in safety, including multiple DOT and safety management positions over the past several years. Prior to his current role with Arrow Safety, Steven retired as a Texas State Trooper after over 21 years specializing in Commercial Vehicle Enforcement. In addition, he proudly served as a Stinger Gunner while in his role of Corporal/Team Leader in the United States Marine Corps.

Steven currently holds numerous professional certifications, including Certified Safety and Health Official (CSHO), as well as Traffic Crash Investigation and Reconstruction training.
